Helped design and manage a large scale UVM service procurement exercise on behalf of a utility. Authored the technical specification and co-designed the tender assessment framework. Lead consultation with prospective tenderers and stakeholders. Worked within a tender review team to assess tender content, forecast expenditure and propose tender award options to the executive.

Re-designed a utility's vegetation inspection and treatment auditing procedure and program effectiveness assurance framework. Integrated an international standard for quality control sampling and defined acceptable level of error/compliance. Successfully defended the new assurance framework during an independent regulatory compliance audit.

Advised on data limitations and forest science for an engineering division seeking to incorporate vegetation management programs into a corporate asset maintenance portfolio optimisation software. Successfully converted "vegetation speak" and UVM data collection limitations into "maintenance engineering speak" to enable industry-leading cross-program optimisation of resources and investment. Vegetation related expenditure, risk and resource needs can now be forecast across years.

Example Project
Facilitated a national working group of vegetation managers from across the Australian electricity industry to develop an industry guideline for vegetation risk management. A third party author was engaged under contract. Diverse opinions on good management practices had to be navigated and reconciled. The guideline was successfully published and is publicly available for purchase.

Example Project
Worked as Senior Program Manager for a national committee and its numerous sub-committees. Provided governance and facilitation to all committees. Developed business cases, then engaged and managed multiple contracts with third-party organisations delivering research projects. Tracked progress within project management software. Presented regular progress, risk and expenditure updates to an executive steering committee.
